Our Whisky

Lower Marsh Distillery resides on our family farm of Glen Iris in the Central Highlands of Tasmania

The property is nestled at the foot of Spring Hill, the source of our pristine water. We use this as the base of our whisky.

We combine our spring water with our farm grown barley: which we sow, nurture and harvest.

We have developed and perfected our own unique malting process which is truly one-of-a-kind. Engineered and built onsite, our malting process enables us to have complete control of our product. Helping us minimise our carbon footprint.

Our hands-on brewing process is fully conducted inhouse using open top fermenters to entice natural yeast influence.

Double distilled in our own designed and built copper pot still which we named Big Earl.

Barrelled, matured and bottled at Lower Marsh Distillery.
